Our Philosophy
Aurora is the first light of a new day. We chose the name because we believe meaningful psychological care begins with understanding.
Every person's experience, relationships, culture, and environment shape how they see themselves and respond to the world. We recognise that no two people are the same and that psychological care should reflect each individual's needs, strengths, and goals.
Rather than viewing people as needing to be fixed, we see therapy as an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognise patterns that may no longer be serving you, build on your existing strengths, and explore new ways of responding that feel more aligned with your values and the life you want to live.
Our practitioners provide evidence-informed psychological care within a collaborative and respectful therapeutic environment, practising in accordance with Australian professional and ethical standards.

Walk and Talk Therapy
I have experience providing therapeutic support for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and life transitions. Since moving to Australia in 2019, I have also worked across community, educational and care settings, supporting children, adults and older adults through both individual and group-based work.
These experiences have deepened my understanding of the influence that relationships, culture and shared environments can have on individual and collective wellbeing and growth. I have also seen how gardening and time in nature can support grounding, confidence, empathy, connection and belonging. These observations have shaped my interest in incorporating nature-based experiences alongside established psychological approaches when they are appropriate and meaningful for the person.

8+ Years Clinical
Evidence-Informed
With more than eight years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist in Brazil and postgraduate training in Jungian (Analytical) Psychology, I bring a broad range of clinical experience to my work in Australia. Outside of psychology, I enjoy spending time in the mountains and in nature, where I find opportunities to slow down and recharge.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, including within aged care services. I have experience supporting individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and existential concerns. I also have experience working with people who find it difficult to express their thoughts and emotions, aiming to provide a respectful, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages communication at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
